Glendale High School, a large aspect of the upperclassmen workload was teaching the novices and post-novices how to debate and do well with public speaking in general. I have 2 soild years of experience helping students not only in a debate class but after school usually at panera. Everything from knowing your audience and how that will affect your approach to speaking, researching and cutting your evidence, to even just customs when it comes to debating.
In the fall I will be helping as a tutor for Columbia public schools. I will be doing a lot of what I am used to as well as some more policy specific debate coaching.

I'm a detail oriented tutor with four years of experience in Policy, International Extemp, Congress, and Extemp Debate. I’m a three-time NSDA qualifier and placed top 10 in Policy at state twice, but more than the trophies, I love helping students improve their delivery, research, and strategy in a focused, thoughtful way. I work best with high schoolers who are serious about growth and open to clear, honest feedback.
