About Me
I'm Alana Treviño, and I'm an evidence/contention-based debater from San Antonio, Texas. Having experience in more traditional styles of debate and extemporaneous speaking, I believe success in forensics comes from sharpening foundational skills instead of relying on tricks and distractions. I can provide a laid-back, one-on-one style of instruction personalized to a student's needs, individualized critiques on mock rounds, or larger discussions on specific techniques. In Speech and Debate, my strengths lie within Extemp sub-structures, strategic cross-examination, and critical applications of theory. If you're interested in a personalized approach to instruction rooted in structural techniques, we'd be a great team.
